Thomas F. Wright, M.D., F.A.C.P, R.V.T, is a certified vein specialist by the American Board of Phlebology, a certified vascular sonographer, and the medical director of the Laser Vein Center. He is a graduate of Duke University and University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Wright was among the first two hundred surgeons in the nation to be a diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology, which is a specialty dedicated to treating vein disease comprehensively. He has authored and presented several scientific papers on new surgical techniques for the treatment of venous insufficiency. He has received numerous honors including: Election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, recipient of the AMA Physician Recognition Award. He is a member of contributor of original research to the American College of Phlebology and a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Wright is a certified medical sonographer credentialed by American registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Dr. Wright is conducting research to make the endovenous procedures simpler and even more comfortable. He places a high emphasis on patient safety and patient comfort focusing the least invasive treatment to deliver optimal results.
